A save failed or a record changed
What the saving messages mean, why your draft is kept, and how to retry safely.
The workspace never discards what you typed because a save failed. Dialogs keep your draft, show what happened and offer Retry. Attendance rows return to their previous mark. Read the message before trying again.

| Could not confirm whether your change was saved. Check your connection and refresh school records before saving again. | The request left your browser but no answer came back, so the change may or may not have been saved. | Check your connection, choose Retry to refresh the records, then look before saving again so you do not create a duplicate. |
| Refresh school records before saving. | The app has not yet confirmed current access to these records. | Wait a moment or choose Retry; the form unfreezes once the records are confirmed. |
| A save is already in progress. | You submitted twice. | Wait for the first save to finish. |
| This record changed. Close this edit, refresh the page, and reopen the record before saving. | Someone else edited the same record while your dialog was open. | Close the dialog, refresh, reopen the record and apply your change to the current version. |
| Could not load school records with Try again | The records could not be loaded at all. | Choose Try again. If it keeps failing, check your connection or tell the office. |
| Your sign-in expired before this change could be saved. Refresh school records and try again. | Your sign-in token expired twice in a row while saving. Nothing was saved. | Choose Retry on the banner to refresh, then submit the change again. |
