Link parents to students
Parents see a child only when their account is linked to that student with a relationship label.

A parent's access is the set of students linked to their account. Each link carries its own relationship label, so a person can be Mother of one child and Guardian of another. Links are made when you invite the parent or later through Edit access.
From a student's record
- Open the student and choose Student actions › Invite parent.
- The Invite a parent dialog opens with the role set to Parent, the student ticked under Children and the guardian's name filled in.
- Add the parent's Email address, describe the Relationship to the children, and choose the delivery method.
- Choose Send invitation. If the parent already has an account, the page says {name} already has an account and is now linked.
From People
Open the parent's row, choose Edit access, tick each child under Children and fill in Relationship to {name} beside each one. Untick a child to remove the link. The dialog asks you to Describe the relationship to {child}, such as Mother. if a label is missing.
